The Bootcut Jean | Outfit of the week

I remember when 'bootcut' was called flares, and then called 'hipsters'!
An item of clothing that was once popular in the 60s/70s died out then came back in the 90s.
I remember my elder sister buying a pair in the 90s and it was such a huge trend at the time. However over the years, people started to hate it! It was just a no no fashion piece.
What I love about Fashion is how often things go and come back, but it seemed as if the bootcut was never going to make another appearance.
Very recent however, its come back into style, I feel it will be a hit this Autumn/Winter season.
I got my pair from Evans, and I must say, Evans have some of the best jeans for plus size women.
That being the cut, the quality and even the colour and finish.

These jeans go up to size 30 however I am wearing a size 18, I love the deep denim tone, almost like a true navy blue.

I paired it with another huge trend that also temporarily lost its love in the fashion industry which is lace. This top is from George Asda, and honestly, I picked it up because I wanted just a top to wear with these trousers, this seemed to go well perfectly without trying to hard!

My bag is the statement piece in the look book also, coming from Paul's Boutique. The snake skin looks so amazing and the hues of blue look ever so interesting. I feel this is a very sophisticated bag for work, church, shopping, anywhere you feel like being classy!
There is a similar version here also from Pauls Boutique but through ASOS

As for my footwear, I decided to keep it classy but cute, so this nude heels from Boohoo were so affordable, also not too pressuring on the feet and the insole has a cushion part where the bowl of your feet touch so it helps with comfort. Please note, they say white online but are more of a nude colour!
