A Country Hotel

What sets this hotel apart from others I have stayed in is the peace that surrounds it. This country hotel in the depth of rural Nottingham, North England is simply beautiful. Courtesy of Yours Clothing my client they placed me in this hotel which was located very close to the area we shot their official campaign (which i cannot wait to share with you guys).
The hotel has this shabby vintage yet elegant and chic look, with a bar, large dining area and large open windows which lets in great light into every room. The design of the rooms were outstanding, with the vintage feel and light colours such as creams, nudes and turquoise tones. Comfy beds and great service and an amazing breakfast in the morning! This is a place I highly recommend if you just want to get a way from the busy city of London area! I wished we stayed longer like perhaps a full day there also would be great! There is also a large courtyard at the back of the hotel where you can enjoy a nice lunch and relax on a lovely sunny day!
Here are some pictures I took of The CockLiffe Hotel, Nottingham with my Canon 600d, 50mm lens.

Check out the detail on this chest of drawers.... BEAUTIFUL!

I had a great night sleep- lots of pillows and clean line supplied!

Relaxed....... Comfy Hotel Sleepers!

Its always nice to go to a hotel where dressing gown and slippers and bathroom necessities are offered!!
Elemis is also a great skin brand!

DIY Candles

My home was so boring until I decided to be a little more creative. I have always loved candles, especially the scented ones!
So I created these 3 types of candles to decorate within the home.

Concealers!

Concealer is an essential makeup item, wether it is to camouflage and hide away areas we don't want to display or wether it is to brighten up your eyes. There is definitely a concealer type for every one!
My favourite type of concealer is liquid i love the way it blends and i find it less concentrated and thick to work with. However I have many different types of concealers in my personal collection also.
Some of my palettes have colour correctors and shades to contour and highlight also.

Monthly Favourites! | February 2015 | Makeup, Beauty, Home and More!

First of all lets all get comfortable in my living room whilst I show you this haul! I have a thing for ivory, fur, cream acrylics, diamonds and candles as you can see!
Here are my favourite things of the month of February, I also have recorded it and its up on my YouTube channel on 3/3/2015 so definitely check it out

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Butter and Hand Cream- has been my absolute favourite piece of beauty item! Apart from the fact that I already love Body Shop and their body butters, the scent of this new line just adds so much to it! I love it!

SuperDrugs Cleansing Facial Wipes for Normal Skin, amazing for 'getting the job done' for an affordable price. I absolutely love the way it keeps my skin feeling moisturised after I used it.

Fix Plus Spray by MAC!- Has been great for the winter season to not make my makeup look too dry

Real Techniques Beauty Blender: I jumped on the band wagon pretty late with this product but at least I did not loose out forever. The blendability of this product is amazing, it is great for blending cream products together flawlessly.

Lancome is a fantastic brand, and this foundation is a great buy. I highly recommend it! The flawless and natural finish of this is so good. It leaves you looking youthful and effortlessly glowing! Love!
My shade: no.14

Fashion Fair 'Golden Lights' An amazing shimmer highlight for the cheek bones, it is nice and subtle for an everyday application yet can be worn on a full face evening makeup look, i love the versatility of this product and to me it is a must have item!

MAC- Current Lip Pencil and Stud Brow Pencil. Current is definitely an old time favourite however I put it down for sometime, it is definitely a great vamp shade lip liner which can be used with deep plums purples and reds. The Brow Pencil is also an old time favourite and after a few years of not purchasing it, I picked one up last month and fell back in love with it, it works wonders on my eyebrows!

Maybelline- Gel Liner: I LOVE this product, I have to ask myself, where has this been all my life? It is intense and smooth and glides on perfectly with a thin pencil angled brush for that perfect winged liner. Simply AMAZING!

Yves Rocher- Black Berries Candle: This brand is a French Brand and I found it on my trip to France in January, I pretty much have burned this fragranced candle to the end! I love the sweet scent it has around my house. I am normally a fan of Vanilla, creamy scents, but I did not realise that BlackBerries will be the new thing for my house hold! It smells immaculate and I also have the spray to spray the house.

Comment below to let me know if you have tried any of this things
