I visited the city of Brussels in Belgium earlier this year and I am glad I got to visit again before the end of the year. Lets say I plan to make it around all the countries I would like to visit in Europe before the Brexit comes in full effect!
As always, nothing over the top when I travel to some place in Europe. My quest is normally to relax and feel at home. I stayed at The Hotel, near Avenue Louise which is a beautiful Fashion inspired luxury hotel.
To my surprise, the city of Brussels is very much inspired by Fashion. The Hotel I stayed at is in the heart of one of Brussels fashion districts where a Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Burberry and more are located. It is literally a stone throw distance to all things for the finer living and that certainly made me excited to be around and within it all.
I hit the shops on Saturday mainly to admire and window shop and ended up picking up a Burberry Coat for my little boy and a Hermes scarf for myself.
And how about food and dining, weirdly enough, I did not eat much whilst away, we had tea and a meal at an Iraqian Restaurant which was not as tasty as I imagined it to be, but was a great experience as I loved the service and restaurant decor.
I enjoyed breakfast and room service at The Hotel, barely got snaps of this however it is in my Brussels vlog which would be out on my second channel this weekend, it featured the food we ate. I was very happy to see a Marks and Spencer's where we indulged in many 'British' snacks! But for the most part, I wished we had much more of a selection of restaurants and food as like the food selection available in Spain!
