The Little Black Dress

Hello loves!
Pretty soon, www.chanelboateng.co.uk would go from a weekly to a daily post blog! If you have been following on social media, I am somewhat quieter, not completely quiet, but just a little. I believe in working in silence and making noise later. I am working on getting a team to help make this website a huge success and I cannot wait to launch the new one.
For now, here is a classic number... just a 'Little Black Dress' however it is perhaps an important post because it may be one of my last looks in all black! As we approach spring, I plan to get colourful and flowery over the next couple of months, because I am feeling full of life and full of colour!
I hope you love this sexy little all black number for now... its a gorgeous turtle neck dress from Boohoo..., I simply styled it with a little black studded box clutch and some open toed, lace back heels.

CHANEL TRAVELS | LOS ANGELES TRAVEL DIARY

Hello loves! I am seriously jet lagged right now! My travel to LA was amazing! YouTube honoured me by flying me out to a place that I have been wanting to visit all my life for an amazing organized event #YouTubeBlack. I travelled 11 and 1/2 hours to sunny California where I stayed at the Andaz West Hollywood and followed by another 2 nights at the Hilton Hotel LAX Airport.

Who knows when I would visit the city again, so I had to definitely document my travels in photo and video form so that I would never forget my dreamy trip to LA, the event was literally one full day, however I booked a few extra nights as I wanted to do some site seeing such as visit Hollywood, the Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills, Venice Beach and more!

Wednesday 30th March 2016
Panoramic Views from the hotel Andaz West Hollywood

Thursday 31st March
Breakfast at the Hotel Andaz West Hollywood

and of course, some White wine with the ladies.....

Friday 1st April
Morning Breakfast at the Andaz- I had the pleasure of consuming some traditional fluffy, buttery American pancakes with an amazing caramel latte the morning before i finally checked out of the hotel.

Foodie in LA!
Almost every corner had something appetizing, of our course I was spoilt for choice. LA has every different type of food you could imagine. But when in America... its all about American food! I grabbed fries, burgers, milkshakes, every type of calorific food you could encounter!

The Cheesecake Factory

Oreo Milkshake, Fried Calamari, Pepperoni Pizza and Fries!

In and Out Burger
My friend Chauncea, took me to a place which can only be found in LA, In and Out Burger! So cheap, so cheerful and so lovely and tasty! I had a burger and fries with milkshake! The interesting thing about this was there is literally 4 options on the menu!

Berri's Cafe

Night food in LA, I love Berri's, they open pretty late and its a great spot for a chilled glass of wine, cocktail, hot drink and of course a full course of food. I particularly fell in love with their ice cold lemon water. My friend and I Chauncea chilled and chatted all evening long, there was some great service from the super friendly staff and of course AMAZING music. If ever in LA, check this place out (not sponsored!) lol

Denny's
My last supper in LA, I wanted to actually try out Roscoes for Sunday Brunch, however it was a busy busy day and the wait was 30 minutes long. I spotted this restaurant called Denny's and settled for fried steak scrambled eggs and a hash brown with a cup of coffee.

Starbucks
I feel every corner of the world has a Starbucks, and if there is none around the corner from you, you should be getting one soon! Of course you know I love my hot teas and latte, but with LA weather, it is highly necessary you grab a creamy caramel frappuccino! This was actually the first shot I took and of course the first consumption of anything when I landed at LAX on the 30th.

Palm Tree Spotting
Los Angeles is simply beautiful! What was once a desert area is now a tropical stunning city. I could not help but spot palm trees on almost every corner. My aim was to take a picture of every palm tree in LA lol, possibly impossible, but I at least took pictures in the hotspots such as Beverley Hills, Hollywood, Venice Beach....

Hollywood
I should have definitely taken some more images of Hollywood! But at least I got a cool shot of the Hollywood sign!

Venice Beach

I believe the photographs would speak for itself.... simply breathtaking!

Thank you guys for reading today's post. I am happy to have had the opportunity to visit LA finally! This is all because of my YouTube journey and the contribution and dedication from my subscribers as to why this is even possible! I have been simply blessed to check out California, and of course, I would be back soon!
