February with ME!

The month of love....or so they call it was an interesting one, starting with a little chill, therapy, time with the children and a bit of jet setting from LA to Germany. I ended the month of January in Disney Land Paris and stepped into the new month with a cute blonde pixie that you all either love or hated it!

Therapy, so how has that been for me? If you happen to be a Patreon member, you would know how much I have been raving about therapy. My last session with my therapist was on the 1st February, and I officially decided that I would hold back on therapy sessions just to see how I would cope without the extra support. This was a great way to set the tone of the month for me as I felt as if I needed to test my own ability and find my own feet to see how I could manage my busy mum life and schedule without therapy support.

I was on a podcast called 'Made by Mumma' podcast where I got a little too real and candid with the ladies. Georgia and Zoe (podcast hosts) were so sweet and just real enough to make me comfortable to keep it real. I covered the topics of single motherhood, divorce and being a busy business woman/mum. The podcast gives amazing parenting advice and includes elements of what I do in terms of Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle options. Love Month

So how was your Valentines? Comment below!
I would love to know because mine was very beautiful. I went on a date at the Intercontinental O2 at a very Lavish Indian restaurant called Kinaara where we had a 7 course dinner with perfect views of the City of London over the River Thames.
I was unable to capture my dress in full however check this link out here as it is what I wore:

Check out the experience here on IG: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CovGOyFoe-R/  Thank you to Intercontinental O2 for this invite and Experience.

I jetted to LOS ANGELES, California! My LA trip was long overdue as the last time I visited was in 2016 for a major YouTube event. This time, I went for a little business and a lot of pleasure! I was so glad to finally sit down with Dr Michelle Daf  a woman who majorly inspired my femininity journey and my self development and discovery. We had a conversation about marriage, femininity, divorce, motherhood and life and the episode will be aired soon.

I stayed at Dream Hollywood Hotel which is a lovely new and modern creative art inspired hotel located in the heart of Hollywood. The hotel had a nightclub/bar called The Highlight Room, which is the destination for major Hollywood stars and celebrities and metres away from the Hollywood walk of stars. Although we were located in a perfect area, unfortunately and for the first time in history it seemed, the LA weather let us down and we were barely able to do all of the sightseeing and fun stuff we had planned. The coldest LA since 1989 we were told with heavy rain and even a bit of snowfall. The best way we could make use of the trip was heading to The Grove to check out Sephora and Nordstorm and also having some amazing food at The Cheesecake Factory.

On Saturday night, we had dinner with Dr Michelle Daf and Jackie Aina at an exquisite restaurant on Melrose Avenue called Metereora LA. We had a 5 course menu experience in this hollistic themed inspired restaurant which honestly, was pure aesthetics and a perfect dinner for a Saturday night with friends and your partner. The following day, my lovely friend Dennis Asamoah, a London native doing so well in LA and the fiancĂ© of my dear friend Jackie invited us to attend an event on the rooftop of The Pendry West Hollywood hotel. This was an amazing TikTok event dedicated to celebrating black content creators which was a wonderful and perfect way to end my final day of my 4 stay day in Los Angeles.

Our final stop in LA was Tao, a Thai restaurant located right by our hotel, the food was nothing short of amazing, and possibly the best Thai food I have ever tried.

Finally, I flew over to Berlin Germany with the Fabletics/Yitty team to celebrate Lizzo at her concert held at Mercedes Benz Arena, Berlin. The show was OUTSTANDING, Lizzo showed up and showed out! The VIP experience with the team made it even the more special at Lizzo's #SpecialTour.

Look of the month

Style and Makeup:

I have been embracing the black chic style look with a few neutrals all month. For the most part, this really is my aesthetic as I tend to be able to have a bit of versatility with my style with black, creams and browns. Monthly, I have decided my favourite fashion look of the month and share links and tags to where you could get the look yourself. Makeup and Beauty was very minimal (as usual) I tried a new makeup look using the below products.
Check out Reels for makeup look: Makeup Look of The month

Black leather skirt and polo neck.
I must say, the girls went crazy over this look on Instagram, if I am being honest, it was my favourite casual chic day outfit I have styled this year so far
Boots: Duo Boots
Bag: @chanel Classic Flap

Hair and Beauty:
Hairstyle of the month has got to be this fire red wig I tried on at @divasbyclaudia, an East London based Hair and beauty salon which is where I do all of my fabulous hair looks. I also loved rocking this new glueless bob Every time I wear a bob, I feel sassy and grown and this month I tried two styles, a glue less frontal wig and a regular frontal.
